Clinton High School will host a special night of hoops and community generosity as the Clinton Cardinals and Sherwood Marksmen face off in the Fifth Annual Dunk on Cancer Game on Saturday, January 3. The event brings together athletes, families, and fans to raise money for the GVMH Bourland Radiation Oncology Center.
The full slate of games begins in the afternoon, with Girls Junior Varsity at 3 p.m., Boys Junior Varsity at 4:30 p.m., Girls Varsity at 6 p.m., and Boys Varsity tipping off at 7:30 p.m. inside the CHS gym.
In addition to the basketball action, the evening will include a variety of fundraising activities. A soup and chili dinner with dessert will be served, and supporters can also take part in a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting local cancer care through the Bourland Center.
Fans wishing to show their support can purchase official Dunk on Cancer shirts online at https://bit.ly/4oCiLYG. The store closes December 15, so organizers encourage the community to order soon.
Support local students, enjoy an evening of great basketball, and help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
