
A single-vehicle accident in Henry County left two young adults with moderate injuries on Monday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old man from Butler and a 19-year-old woman from Urich were hurt when their 1995 Ford pickup left the roadway along Highway 52 near County Road 951.
Troopers say the truck ran off the highway and overturned in a creek. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and both occupants were transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment of their injuries.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
