The Lowry City Board of Aldermen will hold its regular meeting Tuesday, December 16, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lowry City Hall Board Room.
The meeting will begin with a call to order, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a roll call of board members. Mayor Patricia Landes will preside over the meeting.
Under regular business, the board will consider approval of the November 18 meeting minutes and approve the monthly bills list. Aldermen will also review financial reports, including the November 2025 reports and the FY 2024–2025 financial report prepared for audit review.
Several items of old and new business are on the agenda. City officials will discuss public works applications that have been received and note that the city will continue to accept applications until January 20. The board will also consider the status of a new business and address a request regarding employee holiday or Christmas bonuses.
Citizens will have an opportunity to address the board during the public comments portion of the meeting, with comments limited to three minutes per speaker.
Department reports are scheduled from City Clerk John Farrell, who will provide information on candidate filings that remain open until December 30 and ongoing issues with water bills. Police Chief Charles Hodges and Fire Department Chief Justin Norris will also present updates to the board.
The meeting will conclude with a mayor’s notice and adjournment.
