
The Henry County Commission will hold an open meeting Tuesday morning, December 16, at the Henry County Courthouse in Clinton.
The meeting is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on the second floor of the courthouse in Room 210, located at 100 West Franklin Street.
Commissioners will begin by reviewing and approving the meeting agenda, minutes from the previous meeting, and county invoices. Several items of old business are on the agenda, including ongoing discussions related to fly ash in Davis Township, the Stonebridge Common Sewer District, storage needs for the Prosecutor’s Office, and a potential merger involving Henry County Water Districts #1 and #2.
New business will include discussion of the 2026 county budget, a Road and Bridge report from Dennis Bowers, an Emergency Management update with Mark Hardin, and discussion with elected officials as needed.
An appointment is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. with David Plumlee of OGD.
The meeting will also include a public comment period, with comments limited to five minutes per speaker.
The commission may enter into a closed session, if approved by a majority vote, to discuss legal, confidential, or privileged matters as allowed under Missouri’s Sunshine Law.
