Sac Osage Electric Cooperative has announced a planned power outage that will affect members served by the Mt. Zion Substation.
According to the cooperative, the outage is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, as their power provider performs routine maintenance. Work is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 11:00 a.m.
To ensure the maintenance can be completed safely, power at the Mt. Zion Substation will be temporarily shut off during this time. Members who are receiving notification of this outage are among those who will be affected.
Sac Osage Electric notes that members can also verify which substation serves their location by checking their electric bill. The cooperative thanks members for their patience and understanding while this necessary maintenance is completed, and service will be restored as soon as work is finished.
