Harrisonville Police are investigating after a deceased man was found in a creek near Sutherlands on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Harrisonville Police Department, officers were called to the area at approximately 3:00 p.m. after a citizen reported locating a body in the creek. Officers and detectives responded to the scene and conducted an investigation.
The deceased male was transported to the medical examiner’s office. At this time, the individual’s identity has not been confirmed by the medical examiner.
Police say additional information will be released once a positive identification has been made.
