The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has released its November 2025 monthly report, highlighting continued high activity levels, proactive enforcement, and strong community engagement across the county.

According to the report, deputies responded to 1,287 calls for service during the month, bringing the year-to-date total to 15,326 calls. Deputies filed 115 offense reports, made 44 arrests, and conducted 379 traffic stops throughout November. The county detention center averaged 92 inmates per day, with 87 bookings, remaining below its full capacity of 119 inmates.

The Sheriff’s Office also reported extensive service in its contract cities—Calhoun, Deepwater, Montrose, Urich, and Windsor—along with rural Henry County. In total, deputies handled 467 contacts in contract areas and 820 contacts in rural areas, accounting for 136 traffic stops in municipalities and 243 stops countywide.

Task force operations remained active in November, with Henry County deputies partnering with the Midwest Missouri Career Criminal and Drug Task Force. Joint efforts included a traffic saturation detail in Henry County and assistance with multiple search warrants in Cedar County, strengthening regional enforcement and investigative capabilities.

Community engagement was another key focus. Deputies participated in Christmas parades in Clinton, Montrose, and Windsor, assisted with the Deepwater Turkey Shoot, and hosted members of the Clinton Cougar 4-H Club for an educational tour of the Sheriff’s Office, reinforcing positive relationships with residents.

Traffic safety initiatives targeted high-use highways including Missouri Highways 7, 52, 18, 2, and 23. These efforts resulted in numerous warnings and citations, supported in part by a Missouri Department of Transportation grant aimed at reducing crashes and roadway injuries.

The report also highlighted ongoing training efforts, with 61 hours of in-house instruction conducted through the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association Training Academy, along with specialized external training and community-based safety programs for schools and churches. Jail operations remained stable, with staffing fully in place and facility maintenance projects continuing.

Sheriff Aaron Brown noted that transparency, professionalism, and community partnership remain central to the department’s mission, emphasizing that continued collaboration helps ensure safety across Henry County.
