Lowry City Candidates Set for April 7 Municipal Election

LOWRY CITY, Mo. — Candidates have officially filed for three seats on the Lowry City Board of Aldermen and the mayor’s office ahead of the April 2026 municipal election.

A total of seven local residents have signed up to run for the open positions, which include an East Ward alderman seat for a two-year term, a West Ward alderman seat for a two-year term, and the office of mayor for a two-year term.

Running for the East Ward alderman position are Kevin Snyder Jr., Cecil Shehorn, and incumbent Jackie Cutler.

For the West Ward alderman seat, Clark Patterson and incumbent Shirley Edmunds have filed to run.

The race for mayor will feature incumbent Patricia Landes and challenger Greg BeVelle.

The Lowry City municipal election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Voters will decide the leadership that will guide the city over the next two years.
