
Pettis County, MO – The Pettis County Commission is pleased to announce the allocations of the 2026 Pettis County Local Municipality Infrastructure Improvement Grant. Financed by the Road & Bridge Sales Tax, this initiative highlights the Commission’s ongoing dedication to careful financial oversight and targeted investments in infrastructure that directly support local municipalities
The following municipalities have been awarded funding for their infrastructure initiatives:
- City of Green Ridge: $67,800
- City of La Monte: $150,000
- City of Houstonia: $62,000
- City of Sedalia: $365,400 + $239,741.86 previously allocated for Washington St bridge
- City of Smithton: $85,000
- Village of Hughesville: $57,000
The combined funding awarded through this program totals $1,026,941.86. These grants will support projects designed to improve roadway conditions, promote public safety, and enhance connectivity while contributing to sustainable economic development across Pettis County.
