Henry County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Arrest and Incident Report

Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:

  • January 02, 2026 – Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Assault on Law Enforcement:
    Sheriff Brown, Captain Bilbruck, Lieutenant Kubilus, Detective Swartz, and Deputy Hysom, assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Clinton Police Department, responded to an address in rural Clinton regarding a disturbance involving a firearm. Frederick Griffitt, age 35, of Clinton, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, and domestic assault. Upon arrival at the jail, Griffitt continued to actively resist and was further charged with assault on law enforcement. Griffitt was reported to be intoxicated, firing a weapon, and threatening to kill individuals inside a residence. Upon law enforcement’s arrival, Griffitt actively resisted arrest. Within a 24-hour period, the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office requested formal charges, and a warrant was issued for Harassment in the 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Resisting or Interfering with a Felony Arrest, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Assault in the 3rd Degree on a Special Victim.
  • January 02, 2026 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
    Deputy Murphy conducted a traffic stop in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Angelina Brewer, age 38, of Clinton, for Driving While Suspended/Revoked, 2nd or subsequent offense.
  • January 05, 2026 – Driving While Intoxicated:
    Deputy Murphy and Deputy Caldwell conducted a traffic stop in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Tia Ragni, age 51, of Clinton, for Driving While Intoxicated.
  • January 08, 2026 – Warrant:
    Deputy England conducted a traffic stop in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Denise Blankenship, age 57, of Warsaw, on a Henry County warrant for traffic offenses.
  • January 08, 2026 – Warrant:
    Deputy Saulters arrested John Rodrigues, age 44, of Lowry City, at the courthouse on a Henry County felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
  • January 08, 2026 – Warrant:
    Deputy Saulters arrested Robert Grubb, age 56, of Adrian, at the courthouse on a Henry County felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
  • January 08, 2026 – Warrant:
    Deputy Saulters arrested Richard Garcia, age 42, of Clinton, at the courthouse on a Henry County felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
  • January 08, 2026 – Warrant:
    Deputy England conducted a warrant service in the rural Deepwater area that resulted in the arrest of Jesse Burchette, age 27, of Deepwater, on three Henry County warrants for stealing and traffic offenses.

All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
