Clinton, MO. – (Jan. 13, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is proud to announce that Arthur Evensen, DPM, a Podiatrist at GVMH, has achieved a major professional milestone by earning board certification from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). This accomplishment officially makes Dr. Evensen dual board certified, adding to his existing credential from the American Board of Wound Management.
Dr. Evensen recently passed the ABPM Certification Examination, earning the distinction of Diplomate status. ABPM certification is nationally recognized for its rigorous standards in podiatric medicine and its emphasis on ongoing professional development, clinical excellence and evidence-based patient care.
For patients, this certification means access to a highly trained specialist whose expertise supports more accurate diagnoses, advanced treatment options and improved long-term outcomes for foot and ankle conditions.
Evensen specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, including wound care, diabetic foot management and lower extremity surgery. He is highly experienced in managing complex cases and focuses on advanced wound care, limb salvage and reconstructive procedures to protect mobility and support overall health.
