Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is proud to announce that it has once again been nationally recognized for excellence in stroke and STEMI care. As the American Heart Association prepares for its upcoming International Stroke Conference in February 2026, the organization has released the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” recognitions early, highlighting award-winning hospitals across the country, including GVMH.
The “Get With The Guidelines – Rural Stroke Gold” achievement award honors GVMH for its continued commitment to using the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment guidelines to improve patient outcomes. This national recognition reflects the dedication of the hospital’s clinical teams and their focus on delivering high-quality, timely, and effective stroke care.
In addition to the stroke achievement, GVMH also received certified recognition for its excellence in STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) care.
“We are honored to be recognized once again for the exceptional care our teams provide,” said Rachelle Babin, Executive Director of Quality and Accreditation. “These awards reflect the expertise of our teams, their commitment to evidence-based practice and the high standard of care that GVMH strives to deliver every day. We are proud to serve our communities and grateful for this national acknowledgement of our work.”
