WARSAW, Mo. — After the completion of a major floor restoration project, the historic Warsaw Community Building is officially back open to the public.

Community members are invited to stop by and take a look at the newly restored facility, which will immediately return to its role as a hub for local activities and events.

The reopening also comes just in time for the Warsaw Lions Club Youth Basketball Tournament, hosted by the Warsaw Lions Club.

The tournament runs February 2 through February 7, 2026, and will feature boys and girls basketball games each evening, showcasing teams from across the region. Participating programs include Warsaw, Lincoln, Cole Camp, Sedalia, Lakeland, Skyline, Clinton, Windsor and Macks Creek.

Organizers say the tournament provides a perfect opportunity for families, fans and community members to both support local youth athletics and experience the newly restored floor inside the historic building.

Games will be played nightly throughout the week, bringing several area schools and communities together under one roof for a full week of youth basketball action.
