The Henry County Sheriff’s Office hosted its first-ever Sheriff’s Office Awards & Appreciation Dinner on January 9, marking National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a night focused on gratitude, recognition and community support.
The evening honored the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office, along with community members and business partners, who have gone above and beyond in service to Henry County.
Sheriff’s Office officials said the night was about more than presenting awards — it was about recognizing the dedication, professionalism and heart of the team who serve the county each day.
Special appreciation was also extended to the families of Sheriff’s Office employees for the sacrifices they make, including long hours, missed moments and the demanding nature of law enforcement service.
A sincere thank-you was given to the Henry County Sheriff Foundation, which generously covered the cost of the meal and provided gifts in recognition of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Officials noted that the foundation’s continued support helps the office invest back into its people and make events like this possible.
Each award presented during the evening recognized individuals who exemplify commitment to public service and strong support of the Sheriff’s Office mission.
Officials said they are proud to serve alongside such a dedicated team and value every opportunity to pause, reflect and show appreciation for the people behind the badge.
On behalf of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, thanks were extended to employees, their families, community members and partners for the daily support shown throughout the year.
