The City of Clinton is accepting sealed bids for several surplus police vehicles, including a 2018 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor.
According to information released by the city, sealed bids will be accepted for a total of four surplus vehicles: one 2013 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor, two 2018 Ford Explorer Police Interceptors, and one 2012 Ford Explorer.
All vehicles may be viewed in person at the Clinton Police Department, located at 101 East Ohio Street.
Anyone with questions about the vehicles is asked to contact Captain John Scott at 660-885-2679.
Bid specification sheets and bid submissions are being handled through City Hall. Interested bidders may contact Deborah Nelson at 660-885-6121 or by email at dnelson@cityofclintonmo.gov to obtain a bid form. Completed bids must be submitted to City Hall at 105 East Ohio Street in Clinton.
Sealed bids are due no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4.
City officials note that the City of Clinton reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
