
Pettis County, MO – Yesterday the Pettis County Commission proudly recognized employees who reached significant years-of-service milestones in 2025, honoring their dedication and commitment to public service.
Celebrating 5 years of service were John Cook, Cyntrell Dyson, Tammy Hammond, Dannelle Lauder, Rhonda Morgan, Garrett Shewmaker, Sarah Smith, Kyle Towles, and Thomas Wolfe. Heather Hawkins-Hoehne was recognized for 15 years of service. Skip Smith and Sheryl VonHolten were honored for 25 years of dedicated service to Pettis County.
Presiding Commissioner Bill Taylor stated, “Our county employees are the backbone of local government. Their commitment to serving the public with integrity and professionalism is what keeps Pettis County running smoothly every day.”
Eastern Commissioner Israel Baeza added, “We are grateful for the years these employees have dedicated to our community. Their hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are proud to recognize their milestones.”
Western Commissioner Mark Edwards noted, “Longevity in public service speaks volumes. These employees have demonstrated reliability, experience, and dedication that truly benefit the citizens we serve.”
