Candidate filing officially opened at 8:00 a.m. today for the upcoming Primary Election, which will be held on August 4.
The candidate filing period will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on March 31. Individuals interested in running for office must complete their filing before the deadline to be eligible for the August primary ballot.
The August 4 Primary Election will determine which candidates advance to the general election later this year.
