National FFA Week is being celebrated February 21–28, shining a spotlight on the vital role agricultural education and the National FFA Organization play in developing future leaders and strengthening communities across the country.
Observed annually, National FFA Week recognizes the impact FFA has on students through hands-on learning, leadership development, and career preparation. Members participate in a wide range of activities, including community service projects, leadership workshops, agricultural advocacy efforts, and school-wide events that highlight the importance of agriculture in everyday life.
FFA programs combine classroom instruction with real-world experience, helping students build skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and responsibility. Through supervised agricultural experiences and leadership opportunities, students gain practical knowledge that prepares them for careers in agriculture, business, science, education, and many other fields.
The week also honors the organization’s rich history while encouraging the next generation to serve their communities and grow as leaders. With agriculture continuing to be a cornerstone of rural America and the national economy, National FFA Week serves as a reminder of the importance of investing in agricultural education and supporting the students who will help shape the future of the industry.
Local schools and chapters are encouraged to celebrate National FFA Week by recognizing their members, sharing their stories, and promoting the lasting impact FFA has on students and communities alike.
