
Absentee voting for the April 7, 2026 Municipal General Election began Yesterday, February 24, at the Henry County Courthouse. Voting will be conducted in the Henry County Clerk’s Office on the first floor of the courthouse.
Registered voters in Henry County who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day may vote absentee during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional absentee voting hours will be offered on Saturday, April 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on Monday, April 6, until 5:00 p.m.
As with all elections in Missouri, voters are required to show a valid photo ID at the polls, including when voting absentee.
The deadline to register to vote for the April 7 election is Wednesday, March 12. The Voter Registration Office, located on the first floor of the Henry County Courthouse, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any Henry County resident who is at least 17½ years old may register by presenting a valid Missouri driver’s license or other proof of residency and identification.
