Community members are encouraged to mark their calendars for a major summer fundraiser supporting local law enforcement.

The Henry County Sheriff Foundation has announced its annual auction will take place August 8th at Primitive Olde Crow & Winery. Organizers say this year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever, offering a fun, family-friendly evening while raising funds to support the county’s law enforcement community.

The event will feature a variety of auction items, activities for families, and food trucks — a new addition this year. Organizers say the goal is to bring the community together while generating support for programs and initiatives that benefit local law enforcement officers and public safety efforts.

The foundation is currently accepting donations of auction items from businesses and individuals who would like to contribute to the event. Organizers say donated items play a major role in helping the fundraiser succeed each year.

In addition, organizers are inviting food truck vendors to participate in the event. Those who own a food truck or know someone interested are encouraged to reach out to the foundation to become part of the evening.

Organizers say the annual auction has become an important community event and they hope this year’s gathering will be the most successful yet, benefiting law enforcement and strengthening community support across Henry County.
