The Kansas City Chiefs are locking in one of their biggest offensive stars for the foreseeable future.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs have signed star tight end Travis Kelce to a new three-year contract worth $54.7 million.
Kelce, widely regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, has been a cornerstone of Kansas City’s offense since being drafted by the team in 2013. His chemistry with quarterback Patrick Mahomes has helped power multiple Super Bowl runs and keep the Chiefs among the NFL’s elite contenders.
The new deal signals the organization’s continued commitment to keeping its championship core intact as the team looks to remain a dominant force in the AFC.
Financial details beyond the reported total value were not immediately released. Kelce is coming off another productive season and remains one of the league’s top receiving threats at the tight end position.
