Students in the Henry County R-1 School District will not report to class on Monday, March 30, 2026, due to scheduled water line work impacting campus operations.
District officials say water will be shut off at the Windsor Elementary School (WES) during the project, making it necessary to cancel in-person classes for the day. Instead, the district will utilize Alternative Methods of Instruction, marking the day as AMI Day #3 for the school year.
Students are expected to complete assigned AMI work from home.
Henry County R-1 Schools will resume their normal schedule on Tuesday, March 31.
