Clinton High School officials are asking for the community’s help after noticing an increase in unsafe traffic patterns during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times.

According to school administrators, more families have recently been using the student parking lot to drop off students in the morning—something that is not permitted and is creating congestion and safety concerns for both student drivers and pedestrians.

School officials emphasize that the parking lot is designated strictly for student parking, not for drop-off or pick-up activity.

To help reduce risk and keep traffic flowing safely, Clinton High School is reminding families to follow established procedures. All vehicles should enter and exit school grounds using Bodine Street, and drop-off and pick-up should take place on the east side of the building.

Administrators say these procedures are in place to protect students, staff, and families. When they are not followed, it increases the chances of accidents and creates confusion during already busy times of the day.

Clinton High School is encouraging parents and guardians to work together with school staff to ensure a safe, organized environment for everyone.

Officials say student safety starts with the entire community—and following these simple procedures can make a big difference.
