Voters across Henry County made their voices heard in Tuesday’s general municipal election, with all precincts reporting and a wide range of local races and ballot issues decided. A total of 1,611 ballots were cast, representing just 11.41% voter turnout. Results remain unofficial until they are certified after noon Friday, and write-in votes are still being counted.

Among the countywide issues, voters approved a law enforcement sales tax proposition, with about 54 percent voting in favor.

In Clinton, Carla Moberly was elected mayor, while Gary Mount, Greg Shannon, and Gene Henry secured council seats in Wards I, II, and IV respectively.

Other municipal races saw Corrine Lesmeister elected mayor of Deepwater, and David L. Foster elected mayor of Montrose. In Windsor, John Morley, Steve Clubine, and Emily “Grace” Danner won alderman races across three wards.

School board and local district races were also decided, including multiple seats in the Henry County R-1 and Sherwood Cass R-8 districts, while several public water supply district races and write-in contests remain pending final counts.

Several ballot questions across the county were approved by voters, while others—such as Calhoun Question No. 1—were defeated.

Full election results are available in the images below.
