Clinton School District officials say classes will resume Friday, April 17, after crews completed a full damage assessment following Wednesday’s storm.
According to the district, overall damage was minimal. The most significant issues were reported at Clinton Intermediate School, where several air conditioning units were shifted or damaged, and a minor roof leak was identified. Solar units on the building were also impacted but have since been safely disconnected.
Maintenance crews have already begun repairs, with most systems expected to be operational, while a few units will need to be replaced.
District leaders also expressed appreciation for the support received from neighboring school districts, community partners, and state organizations following the storm.
Officials say they look forward to welcoming students and staff back to class on Friday.
