News From Clinton High School
We are happy to report that Phase 1 of the work at Cardinal Stadium is complete. Phase 1 saw the removal of the old surface including turf, pellets, and sand. The crew is now rolling the existing base to smooth it back out and will shoot the grade to ensure a proper crown still exists for the new field drainage. Installation crews are set to arrive within the next week to start Phase 2 and laying the new field. The new field will have much improved drainage with the latest sand/rubber mixture.
