Clinton Intermediate School teachers, Susan Maggi and Rikki Mesh, recently represented their school at the Missouri PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Summer Institute. The conference had over 850 educators in attendance.
Maggi and Mesh presented on CIS’ Caring Adult Program which works to build positive relationships with every student. During the conference, they also accepted CIS’ Tier III (Gold Level) award. This award is earned when a school has implemented all three tiers of the PBIS program and shows evidence of fidelity for all categories. Tier III is the highest level award that can be earned. Maggi and Mesh served as the PBIS coaches for CIS and led the implementation of the tiers for the building.
