The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing lane closures on Missouri Highway 13 from just north of Johnson County Route Y to the Henry County line beginning on Wed., July 31 for pavement repair and resurfacing work. This project will involve a flagging operation and the use of pilot cars to help traffic navigate the work zone. Construction is expected to be completed in November 2024. All work is weather permitting.

All work is weather dependent. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
