On Wednesday, September 4th, 2 area residents were involved in single vehicle accidents. The first occurred at 3:40 pm in St Clair county. Michael P Cleary,28, of El Dorado Springs, westbound on 82 highway just west of 13 highway when Cleary swerved to miss a deer in the road and struck a tree. Cleary was transported to Golden Valley Hospital with minor injuries. A second accident occurred in Cass county at 6:30 pm. A vehicle driven by Walker P Swanson,18, of Archie was traveling southbound on Interstate 49 when he traveled off the left side of the road and struck the guard cables. Swanson’s vehicle was totaled and Swanson suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Belton Regional Medical Center.
