On Sunday, September 15th at about 7:40 pm, a truck driven by Xaindier A Stuart,19, of Deepwater was southbound on county rd. SW 401 when he struck a mule in the roadway that was being ridden by Marshall Landes,64, of Deepwater. Landes suffered minor injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Hospital for his injuries. Stuart had no injuries from the incident but the 2012 Chevrolet, that he was driving, had moderate damage. Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident.
