The election polling location in Montrose has been changed from the Montrose City Hall to the Montrose VFW Post right next door! The Henry County Clerks office wants to thank the City of Montrose for allowing the county to use their building for their polling location for many years.
For a few years, the county has been discussing making a change as voter registration numbers grow, equipment requirements grow, and voter turnout grows, what a wonderful thing! The VFW graciously signed a contract to make their building the new election polling location. Each resident of Bear Creek and Deepwater Township will be receiving a new Voter Notification card that shows the new polling location, as well as a postcard to each household that shares about the change!
