Brenda Sue Tooley, 58, of Warsaw, Missouri, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Mo.
Brenda was born October 13, 1966, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Tommy Jack and Nancy Ruth (Hicks) Tooley. She was the mother of a daughter, Mary Michelle.
Brenda was a stay-at-home mom. She also served as a volunteer fire fighter with the Deer Creek Volunteer Department in Benton county for over 20 years. Brenda loved experiencing the outdoors while hunting and fishing. She also spent time crocheting, embroidering, and most recently had taken up diamond art painting. Brenda was a resident at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation and enjoyed the friendships she had there.
Survivors include 3 grandchildren, Dustin, Amy and Angel; 5 siblings, Joyce Adkins, Jack Tooley, Rick Tooley, Tammy Tooley, Tommy Tooley, and Jearl Doop; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great nieces. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Tooley in 2016; a brother, Tommy Tooley; 2 sisters, Catharen Perez and Linda Mendoza; and her longtime companion, Jim Pratt in 2011.
Brenda’s wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. The family suggests contributions in Brenda’s memory to the Deer Creek Volunteer Fire Protection District (DCFPD) or for cremation expenses and those may be left in care of the funeral home.
