Clinton City Council will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Clinton City Hall, 105 E. Ohio Street, in Clinton.

  2. 1. Street Department:
  3. Updated estimate of 2025 mill & fill and micro surface projects costs: Will revise Vansant Road item from mill & fill to overlay.
  4. Report from recent snowstorm:
  • 2002 dump truck and 2004 flatbed: Both trucks were out of service. New truck to replace 2002 will arrive in about 10 days. Recommend order Isuzu to replace 2004.
  • Damage to salt dome door by Independent Salt: Brite Span will be on site to make repairs. Cost to be provided to Independent Salt for payment. NOTE:  The driver was an employee of Pavlich, Inc., a trucking firm contracted by Independent Salt.
  1. 2. Waste Water:
  2. January Operations Report: Information only.
  3. Damage to WWTP east sludge holding basin: Coordinating with HDR to develop plans for repairs, which will be provided to Ross for a quote.
  4. Update on USACE land transaction: City has received revised MOA and will sign.

  1. Event Ticket Sales: Reviewed revised information. Will provide to council.

  2. Mayor’s recommendation for the re-appointment of Barry Glasscock to the Historic Preservation Commission with a term expiring June, 2029.
  3. Mayor’s recommendation for the re-appointment of Chris Walker to the TIF Commission with a term expiring January, 2029.
  4. Mayor’s recommendation for the re-appointment of Craig Thompson to the TIF Commission with a term expiring January, 2029.
  5. Mayor’s recommendation for the re-appointment of Craig Thompson to the Airport Board with a term expiring August, 2027.

Bill No. 2025-01 – An Ordinance approving amendments to Chapter 36 of the Clinton Code of Ordinances regarding Efficiency Apartments.

  • Closed Session: Pursuant to RSMo. 610.021 (12) Sealed bids and related documents, until the bids are opened; and sealed proposals and related documents or any documents related to a negotiated contract until a contract is executed, or all proposals are rejected.

Speakers are respectfully asked to limit their comments to three (3) minutes or less. Speakers will be called on to speak during the appropriate portion of the meeting. Please address your comments to the Mayor/Chairman.
