Join us at the Warsaw Senior Center, located in Harbor Village at 17571 N. Dam Access Rd., on Saturday, March 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Community, Resources, Education & Wellness (CREW) Expo!
“We’re hosting this Expo on a Saturday because we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to access the resources they need, regardless of their schedule,” said Tammy Wilkey, Family Caregiver Coordinator at Care Connection for Aging Services. “Many people don’t realize the variety of services and support they may be eligible for, and our goal is to help them discover these valuable resources right here in our community.”
Presented by Care Connection for Aging Services, the CREW Expo is designed to provide valuable information and resources to individuals in our community. The event will feature presentations on topics such as preparing for your later years, dementia care, kinship resources, and more, specifically for those aged 60+, caregivers, and grandparents raising grandchildren.
The expo will also showcase over 20 local businesses and organizations offering resources and services to meet your needs. Sheriff Knox from the Benton County Sheriff’s Department will discuss “Hot Topics in Warsaw”. Local health providers, including J&D Pharmacy, will be offering blood pressure checks, glucose readings, and COVID vaccinations. Care Connection for Aging Services will be on hand to provide details about their services as well.
Visitors will have the opportunity to win door prizes, and the Warsaw Senior Center will be raising funds for services for older adults by offering breakfast and lunch for a donation.
