You may have heard about a popular activity making its way through communities across the country called “Senior Assassin.” This game, which is NOT affiliated with or sanctioned by Clinton High School, is being played this year by some CHS seniors.
What is it?
Senior Assassin is an unofficial, student-organized game where participants use water guns to “tag” each other in a last-person-standing competition. While it may be intended as fun among students, it can understandably cause concern or confusion for residents who aren’t aware of the game.
Important Safety Reminders:
For Students:
This game is not allowed on school district property at any time.
Do not trespass on private property — especially at night. If asked to leave, please do so respectfully and immediately.
Use brightly colored, clearly toy-like water guns only. Avoid anything that could be mistaken for a real weapon.
Do not wear masks, camouflage, or dark clothing that might appear suspicious.
If approached by law enforcement or a concerned resident, stay calm, do not run, and clearly explain the situation.
For Parents:
Please talk with your students about the potential risks of participating in this activity — including carrying toy weapons that could be mistaken for real ones, entering private property without permission, or engaging in behavior that could seem threatening.
We appreciate everyone’s help in keeping our neighborhoods safe and informed. Let’s work together to ensure our students can enjoy their senior year activities responsibly and respectfully.
Thank you for your support and partnership in keeping Clinton safe.
