On August 2nd, 2023, Mickey Self, 47, of Osceola was arrested on a 24 hour hold by St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office for Rape 2nd Degree and 2 counts of Statutory Sodomy – 2nd degree, all class D felonies. During the investigation, Self admitted to the allegations. A warrant was issued for the charges and Self was held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
On april 7th, 2025 Self entered into a plea agreement with St. Clair County Prosecutor’s Office. Self pled to the charge of Abuse or Neglect of a Child under section 568.060.5(1) – On Sexual Contact and was sentenced to 6 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
