Good morning everyone. I wanted to give you an update on the weekend forecast and remind you that Monday and Tuesday will be weather aware days here in West Central Missouri. We still have chances of rain Saturday night into the day on Sunday with no severe weather expected. A major storm system will be moving across the Northern Plains and a dryline will be draped across the Central Plains. Monday afternoon, a tornado outbreak is expected in Iowa and Minnesota. Even though the ingredients are lower here in our area compared to up north, the potential still exist to see initial scattered supercells and eventually a line of storms to move through our area with all modes of severe weather possible. I will be watching closely after 3pm on Monday for any development and then after 10pm as the cold front sweeps through the area bringing the chance of damaging winds, large hail and isolated spin up tornadoes. I will be doing an extended live update on Monday morning early with the latest information on all our social media outlets. Subby
