Robert Franklin “Scotty” Scott, 90, of Windsor, Missouri, died Thursday evening, April 17, 2025, at Windsor Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
Scotty was born June 12, 1934, in Charlotte, North Carolina. In April 1965, he married Brenda Eileen Hamilton in Baltimore, Maryland. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2012.
Scotty served in the United States Navy. He lived in the Ionia area for many years where he enjoyed the home he and Brenda made together. He cherished his wife. He worked for several years as a sign painter. Recently, Scotty participated in the Honor Flight program and was able to travel to Washington D.C.
Scotty is survived by many friends at Windsor Healthcare, where he had been a resident since 2019.
Funeral services celebrating the lives of Scotty and Brenda were held 12:00 noon, Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Higginsville Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo., with Pastor Larry Hill officiating. Military honors for Scotty were observed. Contributions may be given to Ionia Christian Cemetery in Scotty and Brenda’s memory in care of the funeral home.
