Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is proud to announce a new partnership with Central Methodist University (CMU) that will provide tuition discounts to GVMH employees and their dependents pursuing degrees in eligible fields. The collaboration was celebrated with a signing event on June 23, featuring Craig Thompson, CEO of GVMH, and Dr. Rita Gulstad, Provost at CMU.

Through this agreement, more than 1,000 GVMH employees and their dependents will have access to discounted tuition for a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs offered by CMU. This initiative supports GVMH’s continued commitment to employee development and workforce advancement, helping team members grow in their careers while remaining in the communities they serve.

“At GVMH, people are at the center of everything we do,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at GVMH. “By partnering with CMU, we are giving our staff the tools to pursue personal and professional growth while continuing to deliver world-class care right here at home.”

This opportunity supports GVMH’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare with friendliness and compassion by developing a strong, educated workforce that meets the needs of the growing region.

GVMH serves a broad area across west-central Missouri, and a partnership with CMU adds to the value GVMH offers to employees and its communities.

“At Central Methodist University, we are committed to creating accessible pathways to higher education for working professionals,” said Dr. Rita Gulstad, Provost at CMU. “Partnering with a respected organization like GVMH allows us to empower individuals to enhance their careers while making a meaningful difference in their communities.”
