The City of Sedalia proudly congratulates Tri-L Manufacturing on its continued growth and expansion within our business community. A ribbon-cutting and open house event was held today at 800 Market Street, where guests toured the facility, viewed live equipment demonstrations, and celebrated the company’s longstanding commitment to innovation and family values.
Founded in 1979 by Bob Lynch on a farm in Ozark, Missouri, Tri-L began with a simple hay spear designed to solve a practical challenge. That innovation laid the foundation for what is now a national agricultural equipment manufacturer offering over 370 products ranging from hay handling tools to buckets, pallet forks, and adapter plates.
In 2023, Tri-L acquired Precision Manufacturing, adding 75 specialized products to its offerings, including grapples, tree clippers, and pullers — all designed with quality and performance in mind.
“Tri-L Manufacturing and Precision Manufacturing show what’s possible when a family puts their minds and hearts into solving real problems,” said Mayor Andrew Dawson. “What started as a simple idea to move hay bales has grown into a business that now creates hundreds of quality products used all across the country. And the best part? It’s all made right here in Sedalia. These companies remind us that no matter the size, every business matters and great things really can be made in Sedalia.”
City Administrator Matthew Wirt added, “Tri-L’s continued investment in Sedalia is a reflection of our community’s skilled workforce and business-friendly climate. Tri-L and Precision show what’s possible when agriculture and innovation come together; solving real problems and creating quality products, all made in Sedalia.”
The City of Sedalia looks forward to Tri-L’s continued success and is grateful for their lasting investment in our local economy.
