Henry County Sheriff’s Office Releases Weekly Arrest and Incident Report: July 18–24, 2025

Sheriff Aaron N. Brown has released the weekly arrest and incident report for the period of July 18 through July 24, 2025, highlighting multiple arrests across the county for warrants and traffic-related offenses.

On July 19, Deputy Chaney assisted the Clinton Police Department in the Windsor area and arrested John Paxton, 42, of Windsor on a charge of domestic assault. Paxton was transferred into the custody of the Clinton Police Department without incident.

A busy day on July 23 saw four separate arrests:

  • James Pickard, 54, of Leeton was arrested by Deputy Hinkle and Deputy Douglas during a traffic stop in Windsor for driving while suspended or revoked.

  • Hannah Shaw, 26, of Clinton was arrested by Deputy Douglas and Deputy Landes in rural Clinton for driving under the influence.

  • Michael Ward II, 29, of Windsor was arrested by Sheriff Brown during a traffic stop in rural Clinton on two Henry County warrants for trespassing.

  • Matthew Medrano, 28, of Sedalia was arrested by Captain Hills during a traffic stop in rural Clinton on two Pettis County warrants related to traffic offenses.

On July 24, Deputy Evans arrested Jonathan Tessmer, 47, of Windsor on a Henry County felony warrant for tampering with electronic monitoring equipment, following a law enforcement follow-up in the Windsor area.

As of the report, the Henry County Jail houses a total of 103 inmates, with 75 male and 28 female inmates in custody.

Deputies were active throughout the county during the week, with patrols and activity in numerous towns and communities including Clinton, Windsor, Deepwater, Urich, and Calhoun. Officers also monitored various rural locations such as Montrose Lake, Sky Village, and the Fewell Wildlife Area.

Sheriff Brown reminds the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
