Randall Dean “Randy” Wilcox Jr.

Randall Dean “Randy” Wilcox Jr., 50, of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday morning, August 11, 2025, at his home.

He was born January 31, 1975, in Wooster, Ohio, the son of Randall Dean Wilcox Sr. and Barbara Ann (Boyd) Wilcox. Randy attended Smithville High School, near Wooster, and was active in the FFA program and wresting. Following graduation, he worked as a police officer for several years. He joined the United States Air Force in 1998 and served over 4 years, working in law enforcement at Whiteman Airforce Base. Following 9-11, he worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He married Carrie Lynn Abney on Whiteman and they were the parents of two daughters, Kaitlyn and Lydia. He was currently working for Janus International as a project manager. Randy enjoyed carpentry and working on cars. He also like to go crappie fishing and deer hunting.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Kaitlyn Wilcox (Colt Jeter) and Lydia Wilcox, all of Windsor; his parents, Randy and Barbara Wilcox, Wooster, Ohio; a sister, Kim Wilcox (Ryan Schalmo), Wooster, Ohio; a brother, Ben Wilcox (Dezirae), Millersburg, Ohio; 5 nephews and nieces, Marcus Kruit, Blake Kruit, Benjamin Wilcox, Briyanna Wilcox, and Briella Wilcox; and a great-nephew, Jameson Kruit. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a niece, Haley Kruit.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. A memorial fund for funeral expenses has been established and contributions may be made in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com.
