The Lowry City Board of Aldermen will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lowry City Hall Board Room.
Items on the agenda include approval of the July 15, 2025, regular session minutes and the bills list. Financial reports for the month ending July 31, 2025, will also be presented.
New business includes consideration of Bill 2025-05 for the set tax levy and discussion of a proposal from Conexon Connect for fiber internet service at city hall.
Citizen input will be accepted during the meeting, with comments limited to three minutes. Department reports are scheduled from Police Chief Charles Hodges, Fire Chief Justin Norris, and Public Works Supervisor Josh Muller.
The board will then adjourn to a closed session to discuss hiring, firing, promotion, or discipline of specific employees, as permitted under RSMo. 610.021. Following the closed session, the board will reconvene in open session before adjourning.
