Andrew Lee “Drew” Griesel, 18, of Windsor, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, after a decade-long battle against an aggressive and rare brain tumor.
He was born October 24, 2006, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Andrew Wayne Griesel and Kara Lynn Franklin. He attended Windsor schools and his best friend was his brother, Randsom. You tubing as MOXIE STARR, Drew shared his love of music with the world. His followers experienced his lyrics and music, combined with digital drawings in a medium that allowed Drew to express his heart and humor. Drew approached life with hope and determination to overcome. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his mother, Kara Smith, Windsor, Mo.; a sister, Faith Woodward, Warrensburg, Mo.; a brother, Randsom Griesel, Windsor, Mo., a niece, Kinsley and nephew, Kaizen; grandparents, Danny and Carolyn Griesel, Windsor, Mo.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
