While we are still early in the process, Chick-fil-A is happy to share that we are actively pursuing our first restaurant in Sedalia.
We look forward to working through the approval process with the City of Sedalia and are excited by the prospect of joining the community. We hope to have the opportunity to serve new Guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality and care.
The Chick-fil-A business is built to add positive impact to the communities we serve, and our local Owner-Operators do this by supporting the development of their Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses, and tailoring philanthropic efforts to meet the local community’s needs. We are excited by the prospect of joining this neighborhood, where each locally owned and operated restaurant creates 80 – 120 jobs.

Most sincerely,
Chick-fil-A
Quote from Mayor Andrew Dawson:
“Sedalia’s appetite for Chick-fil-A is about to be satisfied. I’m thrilled to share that the national restaurant chain, famous for its Original Chicken Sandwich and signature waffle fries, has confirmed plans to open a new location at 3200 W. Broadway Blvd. Construction is already underway, and the anticipation across our community is incredible. For years, residents have hoped to see Chick-fil-A plant roots here, and now that dream is becoming a reality.
This restaurant will create full- and part-time jobs for our local workforce and add a new dining destination to Sedalia’s busy west side corridor. I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Chick-fil-A to Sedalia. My hope is that it becomes a place where families, friends, and neighbors gather, share a meal, celebrate milestones, and make lasting memories together.
With more than 3,000 restaurants nationwide, Chick-fil-A will soon count Sedalia among its family. While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, I know many of us will be watching the progress along West Broadway and counting down the days until our very own Chick-fil-A opens its doors.”
