Sheriff Aaron Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:
- October 10, 2025 – Warrant:
Sergeant Richardson arrested Andrew Mullen, age 41, of Windsor, at the courthouse on several Henry County felony warrants. The warrants were for assault, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, attempted burglary 1st degree, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a motor vehicle, and driving while revoked. - October 10, 2025 – Warrant:
Deputy Chaney responded to the Calhoun area for a disturbance in progress and arrested Devin Coke, age 26, of Warrensburg, on a Henry County warrant for shoplifting. - October 11, 2025 – Driving While Intoxicated:
Deputy England responded to the Urich area in reference to a motor vehicle accident and arrested Jacob Wingard, age 33, of Urich, for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. - October 11, 2025 – Unlawful Use of a Weapon:
Sergeant Brandt and Deputy Moree responded to a rural Deepwater address regarding an intoxicated subject firing a gun. The investigation revealed that Cameron McDowell had reportedly pointed a firearm at multiple subjects while intoxicated and then fired the weapon three times, not in the direction of anyone. McDowell, age 33, of Deepwater, was arrested on a 24-hour investigative hold for domestic assault 2nd degree and unlawful use of a weapon. On the same day, the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office filed formal charges against McDowell, and a warrant was issued for unlawful use of a weapon (subsection 4—exhibiting), harassment 1st degree, unlawful use of a weapon (subsection 5—shooting while intoxicated), and armed criminal action. - October 13, 2025 – Possession of a Controlled Substance:
Sergeant Logan and Deputy Murphy responded to the Blairstown area regarding a burglary in progress. During the investigation, they contacted Terry Scott, age 60, of Blairstown. Scott was arrested on a 24-hour investigative hold for possession of a stolen firearm and for possessing a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance that was not in the proper container. - October 14, 2025 – Failure to Register as a Sex Offender:
Detective Baker conducted a follow-up investigation at the Sheriff’s Office, which resulted in the arrest of Gabrial Terry, age 38, of Windsor, for failing to register as a sex offender. - October 14, 2025 – Warrant:
Sheriff Brown, Captain Bilbruck, Sergeant Logan, SRO Evans, Deputy Murphy, and Deputy McQueen responded to the Windsor area in reference to a wanted subject. SRO Evans observed Dana Metcalf outside a residence in Windsor, and once she observed SRO Evans, she retreated inside the residence. Once other deputies arrived on scene, Metcalf was taken into custody without incident. Metcalf was arrested for a Henry County felony warrant for non-support, a Lafayette County felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a Johnson County warrant for domestic assault, and a Johnson County felony warrant for drug trafficking. - October 15, 2025 – Warrant:
Haley Dugan, age 26, of Deepwater, was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office on a Clinton Police Department warrant for property damage.
All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
