Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:
- November 07, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
Deputy Harms conducted a traffic stop in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Russell Gemmill, age 46, of Kansas, for driving while suspended/revoked and on a Cass County warrant for violation of a protection order. - November 08, 2025 – Driving While Intoxicated:
Sergeant Brandt conducted a traffic stop in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Zackary Moles, age 27, of Clinton, for driving while intoxicated. - November 10, 2025 – Warrant:
Deputy Saulters arrested Terrie Elliott, age 47, of Calhoun, at the courthouse on Henry County felony warrants for possession of a controlled substance ×3. - November 10, 2025 – Warrant:
Deputy Saulters arrested Avery Dennis, age 42, of Clinton, at the courthouse on a Henry County felony warrant for fraudulent use of a credit/debit device. - November 10, 2025 – Warrant:
Deputy Saulters arrested Dustin Mahan, age 35, of Warsaw, at the courthouse on a Henry County felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance. - November 10, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
Deputy Murphy conducted a traffic stop in the Urich area that resulted in the arrest of Casie Powell, age 44, of Belton, for driving while suspended/revoked. - November 10, 2025 – Agency Assist:
Harrisonville Police Department contacted the Sheriff’s Office regarding a wanted subject who allegedly struck a patrol car while fleeing from an investigation in their jurisdiction. Sheriff Brown, Captain Bilbruck, Sergeant Logan, and Deputy Murphy located the subject and vehicle at a residence in Henry County. Lane Carey, age 27, of Clinton, was taken into custody for aggravated assault on law enforcement, and his vehicle was seized. Custody of the vehicle and Carey was transferred to a Harrisonville PD Officer. - November 11, 2025 – Warrant:
Sergeant Logan and Deputy Harms conducted a warrant service in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of William Cain, age 28, of Windsor, on two Cass County warrants for traffic offenses. - November 12, 2025 – Warrant:
Captain Bilbruck and Sergeant Logan conducted a warrant service in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Michael Mullen, age 46, of Deepwater, on a Henry County probation violation no-bond warrant, a St. Clair County warrant for child support, and a Henry County warrant for no proof of insurance. - November 13, 2025 – Warrant:
Sergeant Logan and a member of the MMCC Drug Task Force conducted a warrant service in the rural Calhoun area that resulted in the arrest of James Carter, age 63, of Deepwater, on a Henry County warrant for trespassing and a second Henry County warrant for traffic violations. - November 13, 2025 – Possession of a Controlled Substance:
Deputy England conducted a vehicle check in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Lana Wright, age 34, of Windsor, for possession of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, Deputy England located a clear plastic bag containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
