Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:
- November 28, 2025 – Warrant:
Deputy McQueen conducted a warrant service in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Justin Nash, age 31, of Lincoln, on a Henry County warrant for non-support and a Lafayette County warrant for traffic offenses. - November 29, 2025 – Driving While Intoxicated:
Deputy Douglas conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of Heavin Minor, age 18, of Montrose, for driving without a license and driving while intoxicated. - December 03, 2025 – Failure to Register as a Sex Offender:
SRO Deputy Evans observed a subject he knew to be a registered sex offender at the school while on routine foot patrol. SRO Evans saw the individual, later identified as Tadd Porter, age 57, of Windsor, leave the area in a vehicle. Deputy Murphy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, and the investigation led to Porter’s arrest for failure to register as a sex offender. - December 05, 2025 – Warrant:
Detective Baker arrested Cindy Oliver, age 46, of Clinton, at the Sheriff’s Office on a Cass County failure-to-appear warrant. - December 05, 2025 – Warrant:
Sergeant Logan, Corporal Douglas, and Deputy McQueen conducted a warrant service in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Chaz Cowsert, age 32, of Clinton, on a Kansas felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Cowsert also had a Henry County warrant for felony stealing. - December 05, 2025 – Warrant:
Deputy Stevens and Deputy Hysom conducted a warrant service in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Trevor Strong, age 18, of Sedalia, on a Benton County felony warrant for tampering in the first degree.
All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
