James Edward “JR” Renno Jr., 67, of Windsor, Missouri, passed away Thursday evening, January 8, 2026, in Windsor.
He was born April 17, 1958, in Smithville, Mo., the son of James Edward Renno Sr. and Mary Louise (Simmons) Bigham. He and Bobbie (Bowen) Elliott were the parents Shauna, James, and Christy.
He worked as an auto mechanic for many years. In retirement he did lawn mowing and maintenance. He rescued a dog, Killer, whom he loved.
Survivors include three children, Shauna Zahnd (Mark), Kansas City, Mo., James Renno (Kim), Liberty, Mo., and Christy Punshon (Joe), Windsor, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssia, Dominique, Markie, Susie, Ruben, Shelbie, Randi, Teena, Kita, Phebe, Joe, David, Leah, Nevaeh, and Nico; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eddie Bigham (Peggy), and Jesse Bigham, all of Kansas City, Mo., a sister, Lorraine Renno, Kansas City, Mo.; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces; and Allen Bush, whom he thought of as a son.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 granddaughters, Kaylee and Sadie; 2 brothers, Freddy Bigham and Roy Bigham; and 3 sisters, Marie Bigham, Joyce Stevens, and Mary Ann Estes.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
