The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing the on ramp on I-49 to MO 291 in Harrisonville for brush cutting operations beginning on Thurs., Jan. 15 until Fri., Jan. 16 between approx. 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
